The Green Room Tapes Collective

The Green Room Tapes Collective is a concept that was conceived by a group of college friends from Kolkata, India. Our passion for Hindustani classical and ghazal music drew us closer and ignited a spark within us to create something together. We believe that music is something very ethereal, and its creative potential knows no bounds. We are always striving to create something new, even while covering popular music. We stress on the different styles of presentation, keeping more space for improvisations using our knowledge of Hindustani classical music while keeping our ears open and listening to other varied forms of world music.
